This term we are learning...
This term we are learning about Ancient Egyptians.
Today Y3 received a letter from Tutunkhamun that said his jewels were lost and were hidden in our classroom! The tables and chairs had been moved to make a tunnel towards the jewels. The children had to crawl through and find the treasure. On their way they discovered hieroglyphics on the walls, pictures of Gods and a scarab beetle.
Thank you to everyone for the milk bottles.
We have had a great time making our igloo!
Thank you also to Mrs Fogg and Mrs Palfreyman for all their hard work!
Our PE session is on a Tuesday. This half term we will be developing our hockey skills. Please make sure your child has a PE kit and trainers.
Your child has a spelling card in their home contact book which they need to learn and on a Friday they will have a test. This test will be with their partner. If they get all the words correct they can change their card but if some spellings are wrong they will keep their card for another week. I will sign off cards that are completed in a chart at the back of their home contact book. Enjoy helping your child learn their spellings.
