25.1.18 We have been busy learning indoors and outdoors this week. Take a look!
17.1.18 Today we explored making a variety of repeating patterns and described why it was a pattern to our friends.
12.1.18 Namaste! This morning we learnt yoga! We listened really well and had a good go at all of the different poses!
10.1.18 "How do arctic animals stay warm in icy water?" Today we investigated blubber! We found out we could keep our hand in icy water much longer with our layer of "blubber." We used a stop watch to time our friends, and recorded our results in a table.

13.12.17 "Happy Birthday Jesus!" What a wonderful Nativity play, we are so very proud of you all!
1.12.17 It's Christmaaaas! This morning we were so excited to find Olaf in our classroom! He had brought us a pile of numbered presents, a chocolate advent calendar, a Christmas tree and two sacks of decorations! We correctly ordered the presents and opened number 1 to find a Christmas story for us to read. We then took turns to decorate the tree! Thank you for your support with our non uniform day to raise money for our friendship bench.
23.11.17 We made cakes for Little Red Riding Hood's Grandma but they didn't quite make it to her! Whoops!
10.11.17 Our first apparatus session resulted in EVERYONE moving up to the Golden Star! A whole class of gymnasts!

8.11.17 This week we enjoyed activities around The Three Little Pigs theme.
3.11.17 We worked together to create safety posters for Bonfire night.
3.11.17 We enjoyed making making firework pictures and sparklers! We used our sparklers to create a firework dance !
20.10.17 We love gymnastics! This half term we have learnt to walk like a gymnast, the gymnastic poses of pike, straddle, tuck, stretch and star, and know correct jumping and landing technique! Please ensure children have their PE shorts and tshirt in school every Friday, thank you.
12.10.17 We have been comparing the weight of objects using the balance buckets. The maths challenge area has been very popular, with lots of children achieving their photo on the "Puzzle Bus." Well done F2!

20.7.17 Following on from reading "One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab," the children were set problem solving activities involving "how many legs?" They were also given a total to make using the various creatures! They recorded the corresponding number sentences too! What fantastic mathematicians!

We did our school proud whilst on our day out; with exceptional behaviour and attitudes. We learnt even more about farm animals, and had the opportunity to share our existing knowledge on animals and their babies.
