We would love to see photos, pictures and objects from home that are special to your child...and remember to pop things in your child's 'My Adventure' book too. Keep an eye on the website which will give you more ideas of things you can do at home that relate to our topic at school.
20.11.17 - This week our learning is going to be based around the traditional tale, Little Red Riding Hood. We encourage you to continue to support your child at home with the following challenges:
1. Little Red Riding Hood stopped to talk to the Big, Bad Wolf. Discuss with your child as to whether this was a good idea and what she should have done! or
2. Draw a picture of Grandma's cottage in the woods.
3. Decorate some biscuits or cakes, just like Little Red Riding Hood. You could draw a picture or take a photograph to show us!

3.11.17 This week we have been stretching our brains and challenging ourselves to explore and discover all about Bonfire Night and how we can keep safe!
18.10.17 Thank you to everyone who came to watch the Foundation Stage Autumn Celebration! The children have worked really hard to learn lots of new songs, we are super proud of them! Well done Foundation!
05.10.17 - We made the most of the Autumn sunshine today and had endless fun in the sandpit!
28.9.17 Our SUPER busy week ended by eating the lovely cakes that the children made a few days before with Kids Club, yummy!
27.9.17 We started our 'Dough Disco' sessions today! We worked hard to copy the moves, in order to strengthen the muscles in our fingers in preparation for writing. It's great fun!
25.09.17 - What a great start to the week! After reading our first traditional tale of the term - Goldilocks and the 3 bears, we have been busy making and tasting porridge! We expressed our likes and dislikes and explored what happens to the ingredients as they are mixed together and heated. In the words of Goldilocks and on behalf of the F1 children, this porridge was 'just right!'
15.9.17 Thank you so much to all the families who brought in photos for the children to share with their peers. They absolutely loved talking about the people who they love!

9.6.17 On Friday we had a special surprise! Sharon from Kids Club found 2 tiny frogs near the pond... We all had the chance to have a close look and even sang them a little song!
9.6.17 Mrs Heggie's last day!! We sent Mrs Heggie off on her maternity leave with a musical performance, cards, flowers, a party, and of course a conga! Lots of love and best wishes, we can't wait to meet your baby boy!
